K 930 - "This is a picture of Mr Michael (Joseph) Savage's funeral

train, and is drawn by a streamlined KA engine. This picture was taken near

the bridge over the Hutt road. The train was the Special which conveyed Mr

Savage's body to Auckland for burial. If you look closely, you will see a

white cross on the van near the rear of (the) train. This van contained the

coffin."
