To Qualify:
- Sites must have been "submitted" to "Ring of Scouting" Webring.
The HTML code must be located within the first 2 pages eg: the code for the ring
must either be on the page where
the visitor arrived OR there must be a direct link to a "web ring page."
Page Design:
- Must be of a Scouting Theme
- No Dead links
- No Broken Pics
- Good Use of HTML
(ie..Includes Head, Title, Body, all tables
closed, font size and color properly closed, etc.)
- Frames, Java, Java Scripting, Midi's, must be used with good taste.
(Sites with "Frames" should have a "No Frames" version. (not required)
- Page is easily readable though the Background.
- Good Navigational Qualities
- Date of Last Update
(Site must appear to be updated on a regular basis)
- Consideration of "Load time" must be evident.
(example: 1 page with 50 pics does take a long time to load)
Site or Page Content:
- Must include some content relating to the "Organization" your
page is representing.
(Not just a page full of Links)
- Or if this is a "Personal Webpage" it must include some kind
of "scouting" experiences, photos, training, or reference
matterial.
