If you are interested in joining Explorers, there are a few criteria you must meet.  They are:

1.     You must be between the ages of 14 and 21 and must be in at least the 8th grade.
2.     Be in good physical health and of good moral character.
3.     Carry a 2.0 minimum grade point average with no failing class grades and maintain the same.
4.     List the names of two adults, who are not related to you, as references.
5.     Complete the Explorer Application and turn in application fee.
6.     Submit a copy of your birth certificate.
7.     Pass an oral interview.
8.     Submit to a background investigation.
