I have been trying to find information on alternative propulsion methods afer reading an article from a 1965 Mech. Ill. magazine a few days ago. I also remember an article in the same type publication on a Stirling engine that was used to augment a Ford 2 3L engine in a Ltd experiment. The article said with the Aux.(Stirling) engine engaged the 2.3L 4cyl. would smoke the tires all day long. Rough paraphrasing.
