Travels in groups of between 3 to 5. Seldom solitary.Very little is known about its eating habits, but dissection its stomach content by anglers have revealed tiny insects, worms, and small fish. Usually caught using cast net, with some success, because the fish is very easily spooked and are fast swimmers.
