WENDY MARCOON, who was considering a career in commercial diving, (above left) was dressed into the MkV by her husband Robert (at left) and Wayne Gerhartz. After successfully completing her dive, hubby Rob got his first heavy gear dive (above right) in the Viking dress. Saturnday activities wrapped up with Mark Butler (below, left) and Dave Hill dressing Kurt Terry out in his Aquadyne DMC7. Then Mark donned his Navy Mk12 rig and joined Kurt for a night dive.
Sunday Morning
THE EAGER BEAVERS on Sunday morning were Raymond Tucker (left) and Tim Burger, who dived together in matching Kirby-Morgan band masks. Sergeant Tom Harmon of the Wyoming National Guard (below left), who had flown in from Gillette, Wyo., just for the Rally, then tried one of the Kirby-Morgans. Tim Berger then got his second MkV dive (below right), after getting his first during the D-Day '98 Rally.
MARK VAREY got the Labor Day '98 award for the furthest traveled by flying in from England for the Rally.
Jim Folk checked him ut on Dave Hill's SuperLite 17, mated to Jim's Amron suit.
