Robert Benjamin Wagnerlizzard

ben I'm quite modest, so this feels slightly sinful talking about myself, but here goes...

I'm a student of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, in Ontario, Canada. I've recently returned from the University of Leeds in England, and will graduate in Waterloo in May 1999. At this moment I'm working (really really hard...) at the Canadian Innovation Centre in Waterloo Ontario.

I was born and raised in various locations around Ontario, with my parents currently living in London, Ontario. I also have a brother, Chris who is studying at the University of Toronto, Erindale campus.

In my free time I enjoy rock climbing, cycling, swimming, running, hiking (just about any outdoor activity), and reading.

Things I like about Britain are the vast amounts of history, the green which seems to permeate everything, the rugged Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Skye, quaint country pubs, milk-delivery (not that I take advantage of it), good hand-pumped beers, excellent nature shows, and the sense that the whole country is a community.

Things I dislike about Britain are living in terraced housing with crap insulation and ventilation, British soaps (why are there so many and why are they on prime time?), inflated prices on items such as CD's, and the fact that my Canadian friends and family aren't here (had to be expected though...).
