Comments: First dive in the kelp forests - WOW! Like being in trees - thick stalks spreading out to cover the surface. Saw a sheepshead & leopard shark, as well as lots of little stuff.

Comments: Couple of octopus, one out of his den, sliding down the rock. Lots of sleeping fish. Rockfish, shrimp, gunnels, snailfish. GREAT dive!

Comments: TWO SHARKS at ~80'. Knew I'd see them as I was out of film in the camera. First was smaller - maybe 10' long. Swam very slowly and deliberately, let us within a few feet of them. Very, very neat. Also a GINORMOUS octopus under a rock, couple of big Puget Sound King crabs, ratfish, big yelloweye rockfish, and scallops everywhere!

Comments: Tried to lure out octopus with scraping shell - had tentacles out and grabbing it, thought he was coming out for sure. Showed Caroline a swimming scallop - hilarious! Further along, found what I thought were a couple of octopus tentacles wrapped around a rock - the rock turned out the be the whole damn octopus! Played with him a bit, took some pics before he decided to make a break for his den. AWESOME dive!

Comments: Great dive! Saw brownish Irish Lord. Descended down a little further, found large male wolf-eel just sitting above the bottom. Further along, a ratfish, Puget Sound King crab, rockfish everywhere. Another ratfish. More king crabs, hydrocorals, sponges, anemones of every color. Medium sized octopus hanging out - pulled of my glove and played with him.
