Back when my mom was 16 years old her friend Edna and her were upstairs in my moms house in St.Clair Shores Michigan on Francis Street inside her room . My mom's family heard many things day and night there before this night happened... My mom and her friend Edna were up late into the night into the witching hours and after several attempts with the Ouija board had failed , my mom asked it one last question . She asked "If there are any bad spirits in this house , show yourselves." Well 2 or so minutes passed and nothing happened . So they both agreed to go to bed. As the last candle was put out something unearthly happened...
Suddenly Edna fell into a deep sleep and a unearthly sound came from the wall next to the window and began swirling around the room. My mom in shock was shocked even more when she saw Edna in a deep sleep and couldn't awake her from it. My mom screamed and my Grandma heard this noise and ran upstairs to see what was happening My mom nearly beating Edna up to get her to awaken failed as this hideous unearthly sound swirled inside her room . My Grandma tried opening the bedroom door which was amazingly locked by this creature behind the door. My mom nor Edna locked that door before this event. My Grandma tried with all of her might to open that now sealed door as my mom screamed to her top of her lungs out.
Suddenely , after 2 minutes of pure hell it all stopped...Like nothing happened and my Grandma charged in the room comforting my mom and Edna awoke from her deep sleep. To this day Edna doens't recall a single moment from this incident , just the words my mom and grandma told her about this unearthly occurence. This unearthly , paranormal creature that swirled in my moms bedroom was diagnosed as a Banchee. Banchee's are hideous shrieking creatures that usually when seen or heard , mean a death is going to take place...
