Who?
All girls in Troop 323 (Juniors) and Troop 280 (Cadettes) who are registered, as well as any interested moms! NEW THIS YEAR- Other troops from Frewsburg will also be camping during this same weekend!
Attendance at upcoming meetings is important, because we will be making plans for the trip (which the girls will want to be involved in) and going important rules and regulations that must be followed. These rules ensure that our camping trips are both fun and safe, and cannot be covered in a single meeting!
When?
So that the majority of the girls have a chance to say goodbye to their parents before our camping trip, we will be departing from Pat's house at 6 PM on Friday June 16th. This means that your Girl Scout should eat dinner before she is dropped off. We will only be having a snack that night.
What to Bring!
A list of the equipment that your Girl Scout needs to bring with her camping is listed below. Please note those items listed as "essential". And as always, do not bring anything that is highly valued, or expensive. Things well get wet and dirty!
Clothing
- Pants (1 pair of jeans)
- Shorts (2 or 3 pair)
- Shirts (2 short sleeve, 1 long sleeve)
- Sweatshirt
- Raincoat
- Undies (3 pair)
- Socks (3 pair)
- Bathing suit
- Shoes (1 pair for play, 1 pair to get very wet)
Equipment
- Sleeping bag or a bed-roll of warm blankets
- Pillow
- Towels (2)- We plan on swimming and boating!
- Small back-pack to take hiking
- Flashlight
- Batteries
- Plate
- Bowl
- Cup w/ handle so it can be attached to a necklace or on backpack
- Silverware
Other
- Wash cloth
- Tooth paste
- Tooth brush
- Insect spray - NON AEROSOL
- Suntan Lotion
Optional
- Camera
- Film

CD or Tape players, GameBoys, GigaPets, NanoBabies, Furbies or any other electronic games! Let's leave nature in peace!
