LYKE WAKE RACE
RESULTS 2000
Below are listed all the entrants who successfully negotiated the 42 mile crossing of the Annual Lyke Wake Race within the 12 hour time limit.
The race was held on Saturday 8th July 2000 and was run from Osmotherley to Ravenscar.
The weather was overcast and a westerly breeze was in the runners favour but the temperature was still a little high; this taken in conjunction with recent heavy rains which made the going a little soft underfoot in places, did not make for fast times.
The Race Committee would like to thank all those who entered and congratulate all those who successfully completed.
