Where in the World is Juan?

Here are the accounts of course participants of the experiences and results that flowed from their time at the Outward Bound School.  (All accounts reprinted with the express permission of the author.)

Ellen Subin Blows off the Entire Continent of Africa
7/23/98:  "I just got back from Colorado last night. ...back in my office today and I'm not quite ready to be here. But, I had an AWESOME time , of course- during Outward Bound, but also after!!! I went for another 14000 ft hike/climb on Sunday with a friend from Denver and Juan joined us. We had a beautiful and exhilerating hike! Next day , my friend Bill and I spent the day horse-back riding in the mountains....cantering through pure beauty, wind, sun, smells and everything great!

Next day I was supposed to go home but I FINALLY got the fact that I did not want to give up being exactly where I wanted to be and that my work, office, life could wait another day or so!!! Great move on my part....great lesson for me....so instead of flying home, I joined Juan on his bike to ride through the Rocky Mountain National Park...incredible... picture pure, incredible mountain views, some caribou, great fresh smells, warm and cold wind, a fast and element-ridden ride, and (of course) me on the
back with my arms straight out, eyes closed just being in heaven flying!  not
bad.   So, I'm back...hopefully I'll keep the fire."

Patt McKenna Blows Off Ohio
7/24/98:  "You might be interested to know that out of the quicksand that can be the mind of a kinesthetic person has come a crystal clear picture -- I am moving myself to Colorado Springs or close to it in October!.

Just as soon as my daughter is married at the end of September I'm outta here.

Last week really was a life-changing experience for me at least."
