Pack 606's Blue and Gold Banquet 1999

cslogo.gif (1973 bytes) February 28, 1999 - The annual Blue and Gold Banquet is a time when Cub Scout families get together to celebrate the scouts' achievements for the year. 

One of the highlights of the banquet is the Father-Son Cake Bake Contest.  This year's theme was space. Needless to say, we had many very outstanding creations.  The winners of this year's contest were:

First - Mike T. - "Take Me To Your Den Leader"
Second - John D. - "We Have Landing"
Third - Sam D. - "Earth"

High bid - DJ S. - "Millenium Falcon"

We also had some fine entertainment from Jack Julius, a mime - magician.

Pack 606 would like to thank everyone who made this year's banquet a success, including:

*The Owens family for cooking up a terrific spaghetti dinner.

*The Boy Scouts in Troop 424 for preparing and serving this special event.

*The Laurel American Legion Post for donating the use of their hall.

*The Blue and Gold Banquet Committee, a group of dedicated volunteers from the ranks of our parents.
