Collection and Use of Information
When you visit our web site, we do not
collect any information about you, unless you choose to:
email our webmaster or one of our leaders, or
make an entry into our online guestbook.
Email Communications
The webmaster does not collect any data from email messages that you may send. Your mail may be forwarded to one of our leaders in an earnest attempt to address the message you have sent to the webmaster. If you eventually decide to join Pack 606 as a result of your access to our web site, there is certain information that will be collected from you in hardcopy form, but we do not make this information available on our web site (see our permission policy below) and we do not keep this information elsewhere on this server.
Guestbook
If you leave a message in our guestbook, your message is viewable by anyone that accesses the View Pack 606 Guestbook page. The webmaster reserves the right to delete any inappropriate content from the guestbook at any time at the sole discretion of the webmaster and members of Pack 606. We do not use data entered into our guestbook for any purpose except the guestbook itself, but we cannot prevent others who access the page from doing so. It is up to the guest to use discretion and good judgment before leaving data on the guestbook.
Permission Policy
The Pack members whose names are listed on this site have given written permission for this publication. This permission is revokable by contacting the webmaster. With your permission, we list adult first and last names. We will also provide a link to your personal email if you give permission. For the boys, we list first name and last initial with written permission of the adult parent or guardian. This permission is revokable by contacting the webmaster. We list first and last initials for those who have not given permission.
Photographs
The photographs shown on Pack 606's electronic scrapbook are intended to show the broad range of activities that we participate in. We do not identify individual scouts by name, both for reasons of personal privacy and because our intention is not to showcase individuals. (We all know each other, anyway!) If there is a photo that you feel should be removed for any reason, please contact the webmaster.
