A wonderful thing has happened in my cycling life. I've discovered mountain biking and it's a lot of fun.
A few weekends ago, Peter Murk and I went to visit Rick and Katy at the Bloomfeild Bicycle Company in Prince
Edward County. The plan was to stay a couple of days and check out the mountain biking at McCauley Mountain,
which is the local conservation area, friendly to the sport thanks to a responsible approach by Rick
and Katy, and the Bloomfeild Mountain Biking club. |

We went for an evening ride through the trails on the very Friday night we arrived and it was a blast! I've
found a whole new aspect of cycling to get into and master. I was so impressed, I bought the 15 inch KHS comp softail
they lent me to try, striking a deal the very next morning, even before my first cup of coffee!! So, as you can see in the
picture below, now that I have a mountain bike, I'm laughing. |
