Dc's 4087, 4703 and 4778 have been withdrawn and scrapped after the shed they were being stored in caught fire and burned to the ground.
Dc 4588 has been sent over to Tasmania to help out while more loco's are being referbished for TasRail.
Dc 4202 has been scrapped after a fatal head-on smash at Waipahi
