On the other side of the Colorado Trail sign, looking north east, is Freemont Pass that exits from I-70/Copper Mountain exit to Leadville, Colorado.

As we crossed Kokomo and headed towards Sorrel Pass, I found a bushel of Columbine. Too beautiful to pass up and not take notice of what brings me to love the back country of my own backyard. I often say a prayer of thanks to the Great Spirit for letting me be able to see and experience such an euphoric site.
