Pack Programme - July 1st to End October 1997

Tuesday 1st July: What do you want? Your turn to tell us what’s hot and what’s not at Cubs

Tuesday 8th July: Round-Village quiz. You find the clues

Tuesday 15th July: Sixers run the night - return of an old favourite. Yellow, Green and Blue Sixers organise the evening for us.

Tuesday 22nd July: Before the Holiday. Not packing - but information and Games

 Saturday 26th to Monday 28th July: Challenger Pack Holiday ‘97

We land in Windsor and have the best time ever. Have a look at the Photos

Tuesday 29th July: We have a week off after Windsor. The Leaders are still in bed recovering!

 

During August we (like the Scouts) meet every other week with the other pack to give time for Leader’s Holidays and so on.

 

Wednesday 6th August: Ann’s Wet One. Bring a towel - and prepare to be soaked!

Tuesday 19th August: Fire. Not to dry off from last week - but a fireman’s visit

Tuesday 2nd September: We look at bits of old planes. Visit a display and learn about the 1940’s and what is was like

Tuesday 9th September: Getting ready for the Back - to - Basics Weekend

 Friday 12th to Sunday 14th September: Back - to - Basics Camp

At Hatfield Forest (Provisional as still at planning stage)

This will be low-cost traditional camping weekend

Tuesday 16th September: Week off due to the camp

Tuesday 23rd September: Sixers Night, and it’s the turn of the Grey and Red Sixers

Tuesday 30th September: Our Manager picks the squad for the District Football tournament.

Games for those who don’t like or want to do Football!

Tuesday 1st October: The football team train, the rest do the Personal Safety badge

Tuesday 7th October: The last chance to train for the tournament, or finish the Personal Safety

Saturday 11th October: The District Football tournament at Tolleshunt ’Darcy

Cubs Do Your Best!

Tuesday 14th October: Map-Reader's badge. A visitor helps us with this one

Tuesday 21st October: Map-Reader Badge-Has everyone done well enough to earn the badge?

Tuesday 28th October: Halloween-This year not mess and gunge - but a spooky trip.

 

Well there is the next programme. The Leaders are very happy to help run it, and thank the Sixers for their help with planning everything at the Sixers meetings. If anyone has any ideas about Cubs or has a parent who has an idea for the next Cub Programme please let your Leaders know and we will be happy to find out about it and help run it.
