Nandi's Cyberhome
Hi !!
I'm Nandi, an Indogerman living in Hamburg, Germany. I have studied Applied Geochemistry (BSc) at the University of Greenwich in England. Before that I went to school in Kurseong (Goethals Memorial School) and Shillong (St.Edmunds College), India. Presently I work as a bicycle-messenger in the streets of Hamburg.
On the 4th of June '98 I got up at 3 O'Clock in the morning after having slept an hour - I didn't have any problems getting up, because I was going angling. On that day I caught my biggest pike-perch . After that I caught another one. Here's a picture of the unlucky zander and a happy me. And this is a picture of me,the can that brought me luck and the 90 cm walleye. It weighed 12 pounds. And was very very tasty.
August '98, Schaalsee, Zarentin. Apart from enjoying the beautiful scenery - I also caught a well sized pike. The pike rocked the boat. Here's a snap for non-vegeterians.
2001, the year of my largest sea- trout. I hadn't caught anything for months, and then, this big bugger just starts tugging my line, like there's no tomorrow. Classical trout bite, jumped out of the water a couple of times and sped off thrice when about to be netted. I wasn't sure I'd land it but then i did. 70 long centimeters. I'll be happy for the rest of my life.
Here's a trout trophy collection (let me introduce, the rightmost person, with the largest sea-trout is Sven - also specialized in carp catching) from my angling-mates and me. Two caught in Denmark and mine caught in Noer, Germany.
