EAST FORK LLAMAS GOURMET TREKS

East Fork Llama Treks is located on sixty acres of private land with access to hundreds of acres of private land in beautiful Western North Carolina just north of Asheville. We maintain a string of trained pack llamas and recently one of our lead packers took a blue ribbon in both his halter class and the advanced pack, obstacle class at an ALSA show.

All of us who like to walk in the forest sometimes would like to be pampered and fed in the process and a gourmet llama trek affords that. You may choose from our extensive, specially prepared trail menu in advance of your trek, or design your own. Llamas are inquisitive, intelligent, and gentle creatures willing to carry all your stuff for four hours or three days.

Our treks offer rock climbing from easy walk-ups to challenging overhangs, entertainment around the campfire by a talented singer/songwriter, group initiatives, spectacular views, and just plain fun and relaxation. Of course, we specialize in introducing you to these wonderful animals that will steal your heart and provide you with many unique memories.

Our rates are: $50.00 per person for a picnic trek; $100.00 per person for an all day trek; and $150.00 per person per day for an overnight or extended trek. We provide all the gear. All you have to bring is your hiking shoes, appetite, and imagination.
