For seven days, we are on our own: We cook our own food , clean our own
mess; tend to our own problems.
This we do as we learn to be a part of the group, to take our own responsibility
and to check our own ability.
In other words, Jamboree is one great learning process. It teaches us to
stand on our own, to grow by ourselves.
According to Sir Max Edralin, proponent of quality Scouting, "Jamborees
like this makes Scouting worthwhile." And so everybody should enjoy the
activity, acquire as much knowledge as one could, and treasure them for
it will be of great help in the future, whenever necessary."
