Here are some homepages of some theater celebs. Again, I din't want
to sort through the zillions of "fan pages" so the ones you see here
are the "official" sites - meaning that the celeb is somehow involved.
Brian Lane Green Brian is a friend of mine who I worked with a few years back. I can say with all honesty that this man is one of the most talented individuals that I have ever met. If you ever see his name attached to anything (a show, a cabaret, a CD) the best advice I have for you is to plunk down your money and see him for yourself - you won't be sorry.
Karen Mason An amazing theater talent. Probably best known as the standby to the various stars who played Norma Desmond in "Sunset Boulevard." She can also be heard singing on the soundtrack to the movie "Jeffery."
Sam Harris This would be the Star Search King. Sam is one of those men whose voice seems to know no range limitations. Makes me sick! He went on from his Star Search fame to star in several Broadway and National Tour shows including "Grease," "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," and most recently, "The Life."
Betty Buckley I first knew her as one of my favorite TV moms growing up, but there is much more to this lady than "Eight is Enough." A powerhouse talent, with a powerhouse voice. Most musical theater novitiates will know here as the original Grizzabella, the cat who gets to belt out "Memory."
Debbie Shapiro Received a Tony nomination (and I think won the Tony, correct me if I am wrong) for "Jerome Robbins' Broadway." I had the pleasure of seeing this woman on stage a few years ago, and she has one heck of a voice, let me tell you!
Paige O'Hara Another fine stage actress with many credits, but who will always be knows as the voice of Belle in the animated feaure "Beauty and the Beast." I saw her as Maria in "The Sound of Music" and her voice is just as sweet and pure in person. |
