Subject: Lake Roosevelt Kokanee
Stan K and company fished Lake Roosevelt for Rainbows and Kokanee over the holiday weekend.

Fishing was slow; they put in a day and a half fishing to catch only  two small kokanee ~15" Kokanee.

Water temperatures were in the high 30’s which has been good in the past years for Rainbows. The couple of  Kokanee is a good sign that more Kokanee may appear than what has appeared in the last couple of years.

No rainbows is a bad sign; since, the water temperature is up to levels where the rainbows are on the bite.  Stan is hoping that its a time thing and things will heat up in the next month.
