Subject: | Columbia River Walleye |
Jason P. and company fished Irrigon area on the
Columbia River on Saturday Morning. They fished about 3 hours before getting blown off the
river; but, they managed to pick up 2 nice walleyes in the 24" to 26" range. They were using worm harnesses probably chartreuse. The fish were caught in shallow water ~8 feet deep and caught right on top of each other. Local information is that the fish are schooled tight for spawning so if a fish is caught remember where you caught it and hammer that area hard. |
