Mike and I got married in August,
a beautiful day, ceremony, and memories.
Denver, Mike and I went to a bird sanctuary
for a hike on this beautiful day in November.

I have completed work terms with the Department of Transportation
& Works Central Heating Plant (for Mechanical Engineering)
and the Canadian Coast Guard (for Marine Engineering).
I worked in a Power Generating plant this past summer,
where we supplied steam and heating for various facilities in
Pleasentville, St.John's. The boiler room was a great place to work and
the engineers were the best for teaching me what I need to know.
I am still in process of writing my Power Engineering 3rd class ticket to date.
I went to sea on the CCGS Sir Humphrey Gilbert
for a period of 2 months before finding out I was
2 months pregnant :) I was then transfered to the CCGS Teleost
in lay-up for the month of March in St. John's, then
worked on inventory for the CCGS Sir John Franklin in
Technical Stores on the Southside Coast Guard Base.
The summer of 1999 I worked on the Canadian Coast Guard
Icebreaking Ship Henry Larsen.
After leaving St.John's harbour we headed north
towards the Arctic Circle
where we enjoyed our last sunset for 5 weeks.
Once past the circle we hit ice,
and watched hundreds of icebergs pass by.
Our first destination was Tule, and American Air Base
in Greenland. Where we visited the furthest
club north, The Top of The World!
