1994 August Trip

As always, the camp shot. This is only partial camp though. We were pretty spread out this year.
This was the view from camp. Pretty amazing...
I couldn't believe this butterfly sat there and opened it's wings for me like this!
These are the best rapids we've come across (well, actually...portaged around) throughout our trips. The water was below my knees, but the current was still trying to tug me down river.
I'd like to say that I got this close, but I didn't. Zoom lenses are nice to have for just such an occasion.
This rock face was the opposite shore along the lower portion of the channel
I hiked up this hill one afternoon. The trees in the foreground are full-size pines.
This was off to the right from the same hill.
Look close...you'll see one of our canoes out on the lake. It's the speck on the left side, at approximately 2:00 (clock-face directions :}) from the tip of the pine tree. It gives you an idea of the height of the hill I was on.
This was my first ever moon shot. My pride and joy :) Would you believe this is free-hand...no tripod or brace of any kind.

Whew...that's it. All my favorite pictures (that I have available) from the Boundary Waters. I've even found the pictures from 1992. They're up now. When we go again I'll have more to add!
