1995 August Trip

The usual camp shot...
This was the view on the way to the campsite this year.
We might have set up camp at two locations this year. I don't remember for sure, but this was one view :)
Gulls love to "hang out" just outside your campsite. They know there are scraps to be had.
As you see, I have several of these shots. They just seem so...erie.
This one was taken close to sunset.
This was the first year I ever took a tripod with me. Unfortunately, it wasn't long after that I lost a valuable piece of the tripod.
This was another late-afternoon, early-evening shot.
Some things can be so...aggressive, but so relaxing. This was a wonderful portage. There were rapids going through here for about 20 yards. I believe this is at the bottom.
If you look close, you'll see a Bald Eagle in the lower-center of the picture. This was at the last portage on the way home. He flew in, landed, let me get several hundred yards away (this picture is at 200zoom, then cropped and sized), then flew off.

This is it for 1995. Someone once told me the film developers messed up my pictures because some had a yellow tint. I still like them. This is probably the "least favorite" group of pictures I have. For some reason, they just didn't stand out well.

Thanks for stopping in. I've got all my pictures to date up now :) Stop in again!
