1996 August Trip

The standard camp shot. Also my wife's first time in the Boundary Waters.
in 1997 it was turtles, in '96 my wife's fascination was chipmunks. We got over 20 DIFFERENT pictures of these little guys :)

These two pictures have to be my most favorite pictures of the hundreds we have taken since our first trip up here.

This was an incredible picture at full size. I hope you still enjoy it smaller
We've been lucky two years in a row to get a great loon shot. These aren't easy to come by (believe me, I have dozens of failed loon shots!)
Not all days are sunshine and glory. This year had several like this. But even a rainy day up here is better than a great day at work.
I think this was one of those clouds that brought the rain, but what a GREAT sight.

Well, that's all I'm scanning for 1996 (for now anyway). I have tons of other shots that may be included at a later date. We usually take 5-10 rolls of 24 or 36 exposure film and come home with 1 or 2 rolls unused, so I've still got a lot in inventory I could add. Hope you enjoy these as much as I do. Thanks for stopping by!
