We are proud to defend the Second Ammendment. Because as Charlton Heston said at this years annual NRA convention "Without the second, all other ammendments wouldn't exist." Which really strikes home if you think about it, because it was by the gun that we fought for and defended this nation against all foes, foreign and domestic. Remember this it will be the sportsman and the target shooter that will be out there defending this country against anyone that tries to invade the U.S. while Rosie O'Donnell and her tree hugging friends are hiding under their desks quivering. Now don't get me wrong Columbine and all the other school shootings are tragic, but there had to be something seriously wrong with these children to go out and actually shoot their school mates. There also had to be something wrong with these childrens' parents (in the Columbine case atleast) not to notice that their children were building bombs on their bedrooms and basements.
Now I know that the media feels that they need ratinngs and such to stay competitive, and we saw this in the Columbine incident, because for 1 month we heard nothing but about how these kids built bombs and obtained guns and how they were oddballs and the like. I'm not putting the blame on the media for this tragedy, but what I am doing is blaming them for sensationalizing it, if they would've come out and said that we had a shooting at a school, and then gave the statistics, and then went on to more important things, like how the Clinton-Gore Regim has misappropiated the exise taxes on guns, then maybe kids wouldn't the ideas to do these things.
Now they are calling for the registering of gun owners, I wish someone would explain how this is going to get the guns out of criminals hands, come on now do these people actually think that the criminals are going to register themselves, if they do then I got some ocean front property for sale in Kansas.
We don't need any more gun-control laws, We need our judicial system to get some balls and uphold the laws that are already on the books.
And as for PETA, Don't these people realize without hunters and fisherman that this country would be overrun with game. In certain parts of the country where hunting has been stopped the cases of vehicle animal accidents increased dramatically. Now if one of these tree hugging, bunny loving blowhards wraps their BMW around the wrong side of an elk,Or even better if their prized poodle wound up as dinner for a coyote or bobcat, I wonder how long it would be before they are bitching and moaning that the government isn't doing enough to control animal populations.
And oh yeah I belong to PETA, not the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, but to People Eating Tasty Animals.
