The illustrations in this document were created using Corel Draw, Canvas 3.5, Canvas 5.0, MS Paint, and/or MS Imager. The photographs were scanned using Adobe Photoshop. Please note that all the drawings, images, illustrations, and photos are copyrighted © by T. K. Reeves, Jr., 1997.

Professionals looking for authentic images please recognize that these drawings are adaptations, mostly of other drawings, plus a few photos, from books by Harold Courlander, Campbell Grant, Susanne and Jake Page, Dennis Slifer and James Duffield, Frank Waters, and John V. Young, all of which are listed in the Suggested Readings List. They are not scans, tracings, or direct copies, so should not be considered "authentic." They all attempt to capture the spirit of the source material, not the precise detail. In addition, many of the source images were sketches, copied from still other sources. Plans are to include a page for each of the groups of illustrations, over the next few weeks, to describe the original source and symbolism associated with each figure. To see more, please bookmark these pages and return soon.
