We live in a medium size town in South West British Columbia called Maple Ridge.
As you can see from the picture of Golden Ears mountain above, the area is surrounded by jagged snow-capped mountains, beautiful open fields and miles of untouched forests.
From the ocean 40 minutes to the west, to the USA 30 minutes to the south, the historic Fraser Canyon 1 hour to the east, and countless trails, secluded lakes, mountain hikes of all kinds and pure secluded beauty to the north.
The clock that you see above and left stands in front of our city hall. On the hour it rears up and it's head and tail move. Our town now has a population of about 70,000 people.
