My dabbling in taxidermy is demonstrated by the first three of these mounts, a relaxing yet challenging activity that I don't get to do as often as I would like. In addition, the two on the left and the one on the right are deer I harvested.
--------------------
The mule deer on the left is, to date, the largest I have shot. The nontypical whitetail was acquired in the East Kootenays of B.C. (not by me) and easily exceeds B&C requirements. Finally, the full body mount was made from copies of a very large set of shed antlers and, if legitimate, would be the reigning world record typical.
