BOBO'S TRAVELS
How BoBo Came To Our Troop
Written By: Michel, Gr. 6
One day our troop went on a field trip to the zoo. That day was the day the zookeeper was out sick. The substitute zookeeper was an untrained teenager who left the monkey cage open. There were monkeys EVERYWHERE! Our troop leaders ran around like crazy trying to catch them. They got them all, and we went home. The next day was our weekly meeting, and the regular zookeeper came over with a monkey. We got to keep him as a mascot, as thanks. When the zookeeper left, we took a vote and settled on a name. We now have a monkey mascot named Bo-Bo! Please take her wherever you go so she doesn’t get lonely!
