it is time for the Filipino to wake up and be counted as one of the greatest intellectual in Asia. In the 50's they were considered as one of the brightest spot in the whole of Asia. they lead in showing what a good education and democracy can do to a man. in answer to question, all I want to see is picture of the stamps in order for me to see what color or the figure that stamps hold. I am a collector of Philippine stamps and some of the picture in my album are not clear. you have a good site in the internet, very informative and a good guide in establishing a collection but the majority of the stamps in your site is not shown. I have also read your e-mail but you didn't give the address of the manila stamp collectors' club. I would like to swap stamps with other members in manila but has no address. if you have an update of the Philippine stamps of 1997, sure would appreciate it. yeah by all means send me a notification of any news pertaining to Philippine stamps.

thanks,
Raul David

Thank you for permitting me to quote your e-mail. I shall be translating your messages into HTML and by new year it shall be incorporated in my WEB SITE.

As of now, I am in the process of scanning all available stamps from my collection. I do not have the complete collection of Philippine stamps from 1940s to present. I am still on the processes of accumulating them. I shall however, upload images of those available and will try to secure images from other sources.

In the web site's [ Notes ] page I have appealed to benevolent citizens to help me in scanning the stamp images to complete the catalog.

Furthermore, the address of the MSCC is on my links page [Philippine Philatelic Links] or [Philippine Philatelic Links - Text only], their URL is <http://www.skyinet.net/users/mscc/> and they can also be reached through snail mail at P.O. BOX 1203, MANILA, PHILIPPINES.

I have also recently updated my 1997 page, [Philatelic Stamp Catalog: 1997] where you could verify the new issues from PPC.
