AGSMA at Anime Expo 2000
Mononoke Mountain
Adventureland
Great! I ask for help and they send me tourists!
Tourists? You had to look didn't you?
We've got a problem here!
This page is graphics intensive so watch out!
Watch out for anything that slithers.
This page holds the skit and re-enactment
Of Mononoke Mountain.
Please do not forget any personal belongings

Mononoke Mountain Re-Enactment
Complete Script
Dark Stage
Emcee: AGSMA is proud to sponsor Mononoke Mountain
Please keep your hands and arms inside at all times
Or risk losing them.
Matterhorn Announcer: Remain Seated Please.
Ferme nessair sentados por favor.
Music: Space Mountain Attraction music at 50 seconds.
(i.e. no ""Flight Control, this is Tower. Launch Sequence Engaged")
The Shishigami stands happily (too happily) center stage.
Eboshi Stage Right, San Stage Left Aft,
Ashitaka in front, with bow handy, and he catches an arrow aimed at him
Mononoke Mountain Re-Enactment Ashitaka and Yakkuru walking through the forest
Asking the Kodoma about how to find the way
Ashitaka and Yakkuru walking through the forest
Oo de lally, Oo de lally, Oo de lally lay
Ashitaka and Yakkuru running through the forest
Chopping arms, shooting heads, trying to get away
Ashitaka and Yakkuru running through the forest
Oo de lally, Oo de lally, Golly what a day
Mononoke Mountain Re-Enactment Excuse me for that interlude, that doesn't happen
Two points if you know what I'm referencing
Anyways, Ashitaka does "shoot" arrows into the audience
Sound: Scream from Haunted Mansion
A dismembered arm flies up on center stage.
Mononoke Mountain Re-Enactment Eboshi sneaks on stage from the right
She readies her gun (loading it and aiming it)
At the jet sound, Eboshi fires
Mononoke Mountain Re-Enactment Sound: "We have ignition!"
The head of the Shishigami falls
As does the rest of the body.
Sound: Wolf howl from Haunted Mansion
Mononoke Mountain Re-Enactment San is alerted by the gun shot in the forest
San slowly raises her dagger
When the wolf call is complete she dashes towards Eboshi
Ashitaka, in the meantime stows his straw cape
He pulls down his mask and sees Eboshi and San fighting.
He puts down his bow and arms his sword.
Mononoke Mountain Re-Enactment Eboshi's waiting for San as she drops the haori
Katana in hand she blocks San's stab
Mononoke Mountain Re-Enactment Ashitaka slowly approaches the duel
During the block, Eboshi takes out her icepike and slashes
She then swipes twice with her katana, forcing San back
San slashes for Eboshi's head, which she ducks
San slices again, which locks with Eboshi's katana.
Both push back and are about to attack again when
Mononoke Mountain Re-Enactment Ashitaka intervenes by clutching San's right hand
And blocking Eboshi's katana with his sword
Indiana Jones: "You looked?! There are powers here you can't possibly comprehend! Quick! Take the left passage, it's the only way out"
At the "left" quote, Ashitaka belts Eboshi with the handle of his sword and pushes her aside.
He pulls San towards him and elbows her in the gut, knocking her out.
Mononoke Mountain Re-Enactment Assuming Eboshi's unconscious
Ashitaka puts San over his shoulder and proceeds to stage right
Eboshi wakes up however, and grabs her Ishibiya
She fires a shot that goes clear through
Sound: Gunshot from Fantasmic!
The Didarabocchi has emerged and is lumbering around stage looking for its head
Mononoke Mountain Re-Enactment Ashitaka grunts the bullet hit and keeps on walking.
Sound: Wendy saying "How dreadful!"
Ashitaka takes a few steps then collapses from loss of blood. San tries to wake Ashitaka up
Eboshi takes her chance to go retrieve the Shishigami head and stuffs it in her all purpose Disney bag
Mononoke Mountain Re-Enactment San notices Eboshi leaving with the Shishigami head and leaves Ashitaka
She grabs her spear and chases after Eboshi
Eboshi makes a wrong turn into the Didarabocchi and is forced to redirect
Meanwhile, Ashitaka has recovered and notices San chasing Eboshi and follows them.
Mononoke Mountain Re-Enactment San hits Eboshi over the shoulder with her spear, knocking her out, and then she readies her spear for a killing blow
But Ashitaka grabs the spear and prevents San from killing Eboshi
Ashitaka points at the bag and states that they must hurry to return the Shishigami's head
San grabs the bag and Ashitaka reaches in
Mononoke Mountain Re-Enactment Ashitaka pulls out....a mouse
That Eboshi's done some extra bounty hunting for the emperor
Ashitaka tosses the mouse aside and grabs the head of the Shishigami,
With San's help they raise the head over their heads for the Didarabocchi to retrieve.
Ashitaka holds San
Mononoke Mountain Re-Enactment The Didarabocchi retrieves his head
Ashitaka and San embrace
Didarabocchi celebrates with a moonwalk (???? Don't ask)
Sound: Little Leota saying "Hurry back, Hurry back...."

Don't forget the Dole Whip while you're here! If you take a right past that big tree and then cut through the buffeteria, pass the large river and you'll find Frontierland.
