"Anyone else feel kind of funny or is it just me?"
"I feel it too, Mr. Brown. It feels like a large build up of static electricity."
"I've got a bad feeling about this place. How long until we slide?"
You look at the timer, but much to your horror and surprise, the display is all scrambled. You share what you've found with your fellow sliders.
"Perhaps the static in the atmosphere is creating an interference pattern of some sort."
"Whoa, wait a minute. How are we supposed to slide if the timer's on the fritz?"
"We can't," you say. "We'll have to figure out some way to get the timer out of this interference before we miss the window of opportunity."
What are you going to do?
"Let's check in at the Dominion Hotel first," Wade says.
"Maybe if we go to the Lamplighter, we can get some info from the bartender," Rembrandt suggests.
"I think we should look around here, first," states the Professor.
