SKEPTICISM: I RECOGNIZE THE VALUE OF SACRED COWS ONLY AS MUCH AS I ENJOY THE TASTE OF HOLY HAMBURGER

I've been a supporter of The Skeptics Society, an avid reader of Skeptics Magazine, Skeptical Inquirer Magazine, the books of James "The Amazing Randi", Michael Shermer, Carl Sagan and other major skeptical authors for a long time. But, feeling that just about everything I had to say on the subjects they cover has already been covered, I haven't bothered to write about them and focused on other facets of the Satanic philosophy.
But recently I've been given reasons to state my position on many of these issues. This is because I've recently been barraged with e-mails from Satanists of a mystical bent that were offended by my essay "My Brief Career As A Psychic".It seems I had been assuming that Anton LaVey's statments about tearing down any "lie that has built unto itself a throne", questioning all things, not falling for spiritual pipe dreams or going into self-deceit, were basic tenets of Satansim. I guess I was wrong, and LaVey just made a few typos or something.

There are 2 main purposes to this page:
1.To introduce the skeptical movement to Satanists who haven't already become acquainted with it.
2.To apply the methods of the skeptical movement to contemporary Satanism.
