OK, now you might be asking yourself, how can I put any energy into watching the NFL when I put so much effort into my college football poll? Well, it isn't easy, but I do have some comments about the league. JOEY HARRINGTON will be to the Lions what BARRY SANDERS used to be. Mid-way through their season, they are 3-5, and are getting better. Imagine if Barry came out of retirement, to claim his rightful place at the top of the all-time rushing chart...now THAT would be a scarily good team! A scarily good team that currently exists is GREEN BAY. Favre and his team are so good it's scary. I'd be surprised if they didn't win the NFC this year, but I'd still rather that honor goes to the R-A-Ms. And speaking of the RAMS, the Bulger Award is leading the team to victory. With Warner looking like he'd gone soft in too long of an absence from the Arena League, and then getting injured, Bulger has proven himself as a good leader, and to use a term my friend used to describe Warner when he first arrived, that he's another "fiasco" released upon the league. And with the best player in the game, MARSHALL FAULK, how can you go wrong??? Finally, ORIGINAL CAMERA WORK ESPN. Let's see, your sky cam was seen before...IN THE XFL!!! You ridiculed the league, you refused to report any of its scores (unlike me, who will PROMOTE the XFL when I have my own sports network), but then you turn RIGHT AROUND and use their camera idea without even acknowledging where you get it from.
