Benma's Spring Splash II
THE GOOD
Nintendo has always produced some of the best games (and when Squaresoft was working with them, they were almost unstoppable), and as you will see later, many of my favorite games are playable on Nintendo systems. Ever since 1985, Mario has been a household name, and were it not for Nintendo resurrecting the market after Atari crashed it, I wouldn't have had a case study for IR 341. I got my NES on my birthday in 1988, and Mario, Zelda, and Metroid have rotated as my current favorite video game, and have usually held a 1-2-3 rank ever since. (Now, with Pokemon, it could be 1-2-3-4). I have no doubt that they will continue to produce the best possible games.
THE BAD
Why is there so much "kiddie-crap" on Nintendo systems? Yoshi's Story has to be the worst piece of junk I've ever been tortured to play through, even if it does look nice. I'm sorry but Super Mario Adventure is going to absolutely suck BECAUSE they've changed from the rendered 3-D look of SM RPG and gone to 2-D (trying to rip-off Parappa). I'm glad Rare finally had their rectal-cranial inversion and turned "Conker's Quest" from more of the same into a South Park-esque game.
AND THE UGLY
Having to wait for the next METROID!!! Probably the coolest franchise that Nintendo has, they turned down my offer to help them even though I have HALF OF THE GAME ALREADY DESIGNED IN MY HEAD!!! GRR they piss me off sometimes.
DOLPHIN. Good system. Great specs. WORSE NAME THAN "DREAMCAST". You have Shigeru Miyamoto, the greatest mind to ever produce a video game, and "Dolphin" is the best you can come up with? Have Pikachu zap some sense into your heads!!
ALSO--I have nothing against cartridges (although you can store more information on CDs and DVDs and they cost more for third party developers to make) but because of the use of cartriges in the N64, they lost Squaresoft, their best 3rd party developer.
