Benma's Spring Splash II

Remember the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles? Well, these are the Young Benma Chronicles!! My wild younger days included dressing up for Halloween, just like any other kid growing up, with Mom providing the costumes. So here we go!!

Kindergarten: Pac-Man
-----The easiest costume anyone could ever make (next to picking normal clothes out of their closet) and went along with my father and me being big into the yellow chomper. It consisted of two flat Pac-Man things on each side of my body connected by two straps of elastic. It was pretty cool at the time, and thinking back, it still is!!

1st Grade: Skeletor
-----Yup, I was big into He-Man way back in the day, and that was duly represented this Halloween.

2nd Grade: Batman
-----Interesting that I would choose the caped crusader for a costume way back in the day, as I did the archenemy for Batman Beyond in the AGSMA SDCC 2000 skit. Biff! Pow! Zok!!

3rd Grade: Voltron--Defender of the Universe
-----No cheesy vehicles for me, this was Go-Lion!, years before I would know that it was called that in Japan. Complete with a foam-core sword wrapped in tin-foil!

4th Grade: Galvatron
-----(One of the) Archenemy (ies) to a future costume that I would make myself, I had the official Galvatron Boots to go with the rest of my costume (and a paper-tube energy cannon). But it was fun!!

5th-7th Grades: The Monster Phase
-----This is where I went as a demon, Dracula, and the Grim Reaper respectively. Although these sound like traditional costumes, the Grim Reaper was the Castlevania Grim Reaper and therefore a purple costume.

8th-12th Grades: The Dark Costuming Phase
For some reason, I either don't remember dressing up for three of these years, or I didn't dress up for two of them for sure. I repeated the Grim Reaper and had a Starfleet Officer's Uniform made (Orange--from ST: Future Generation) which I may have worn twice (although it was rather small during the second which is why it's retired).

And thus, the Young Benma Chronicles end, and Benma and the AGSMA Crusade begins.
