Ontario is Canada's second biggest province. It stretches from the Great Lakes in the south to the shores of Hudson Bay in the far north. In Thunder Bay you can visit Old Fort William, once a major trading post for fur traders. The government of Canada meets in the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa. One of the best known buildings is the National Arts Centre where Canadian and foreign artists perform opera, theatre, ballet and concerts.The Horseshoe Falls at Niagara Falls on the Niagara River attract thousands of tourists every year. Queen Victoria Park at the Falls was the first provincial park in Canada. In the town of Brantford, Alexander Graham Bell, made the first long-distance phone call. His home is now a museum. Hamilton is the center of Canada's steel industry.
