Interesting Factoids | Here's a cute anecdote from a Good Morning America Interview: (Charlie)Gibson (who happens to be a cousin of Mel Gibson!): I gather that you actually got your acting start in Robin Hood, is that right? Cary: Yes, yes, when I was 5 years old. Gibson: A slightly earlier version? Cary: Yes, I had a tiny part as one of the Sheriff of Nottingham's servants, and I had a spear, and I had to carry some of his ceramics that he bought offstage. And I had one line. He says to me, "oh, well, don't drop those." And I say, "No, don't worry." And all I was supposed to say was, "No, don't worry," and walk offstage, and I-well, I hammed it up. I walked into a tree and dropped everything and got a laugh, and what do you know, the next night I did the same thing.
