ATC Webring presents on a regular basis a Featured Site, taken from our growing Member List.
This presentation looks forward to single out some ring sites on the merit of their interesting content, design and originality, as selected by the Ringmaster.

Today's pick is Patrice Walla's...
"Flash ATC Simulator"

Flash ATC Simulator ...yes, there's no mistake here, this is about a compact (only 277kbytes to download!) fully customisable radar simu in Macromedia Flash 5!
...it took Patrice, an ATCer from France Ouest ACC (located near Brest), more than a total of 400 hours to write the code!

"...aircraft are able to locate the ILS, perform alone the ILS approach, land, and stack."
In Patrice's own description:
".. With these simulations, you can:
  • give absolute or relative headings
  • flight levels
  • speeds in knots or mach
  • direct routes (aircraft are able to intercept the ILS, to stack and land alone)
  • review a given clearance
  • drag and drop an aircraft on the screen
  • show speed vector, map and points
  • simulate wind
  • create a new aircraft while the simulation has already begun
  • change the aircraft data base (up to 999 aircraft flying) using Notepad or Word.
  • zoom anywhere on the map
  • make a pause at anytime.."

...what are you waiting for? "Flash ATC Simulator" is a brand new type of ATC simu...seeing is believing!
