The
Air Traffic Control Webring is about (surprise!) ATC...and Aviation in general. In order to qualify, your site must contribute to the advancement and proliferation of knowledge and understanding to, either experts or laypeople, of issues concerning ATC and/or Aviation. (Phew!) This, of course, does not exclude personal pages about ATC or Aviation, provided they're up to a certain aesthetic standard in web design. For example, sites "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" are usually not accepted!(...there have been only a few rare exceptions) Having said that, the next (easy) bit requires a modicum of familiarity with HTML... You must first fill in the Application Form and then copy and paste to your site's Home (front) Page one of the three Navtool codes (HTML Fragments), so that visitors can identify the ring and navigate the sites. Feel free to change font colour or style to suit your page! Please bear in mind that the site will remain for 14 days in the queue in order to give you plenty of time to paste the Navtool. If by any chance you have not arranged for it in time, then the site will be automatically rejected to make room for other candidates. You can always re-apply if you still wish to be part of the ATC Webring. You may, alternatively, use another page in case you do not wish to paste the Navtool on the Home Page. In this case there must be a clear reference and link to this page from the Home Page. In case you've been wondering, the individualised (with site ID) code for your site will be displayed after you submit for membership. Copy and paste it right from that page, but just to be on the safe side you will receive an email with the same code anyway. And, oh yes, you can find a non-individualised copy right here! And that's about everything there is to it... Come and join the Club! Thank you and Keep'em Separated! |
