May 11, we crossed the French border, passing through the vineyards of Burgundy and the rolling hills of the agricultural heartland of France before we reached the capital, Paris. After visited Montmartre where artists displayed their talents in the street, we went to the Champs Elysees to see Napoleon's Arc de Triomphe. Then we rejoined our coach to see the illuminated Eiffel Tower and the sparkling grandeur of the "city of lights".

May 12, morning sightseeing in Paris included a splended city tour to see the Arc de Triomphe, the Opera House, Notre Dame, Champs Elysee, Place de Concorde and joined a cruise along the river Seine. Then ascended to the 2nd floor of the Eiffle Tower for breathtaking views over the city, Paris. In the evening, we enjoyed a farewell dinner and non-stop cabaret show at the Paradis Latin, one of Paris' oldest and lievliest cabaret theatres.

On May 13, we left Paris and travelled across the battlefields of World War I to Calais to catch a ferry to Dover and then joined an Insight's coach to London to end up our tour. Later, almost at midnight, we took a flight to Singapore and enjoyed another three days sightseeing before going back to Malaysia.
