I'll always love
you Mom!
Tribute to My Mother
May 3, 1926 - January
10, 1990
She touched the lives of
many, loving all she knew.
She never turned her heart
away when you were hurt or blue.
She wasn't pefect, no sirree,
she had her faults, tho few-
But, if you really knew
her, they rarely affected you.
Her touch was always gentle,
her words could soothe your soul,
her death will surely hurt
us, the loss will take it's toll.
But if you really loved
her, and wanted what was best-
believe God did a kindly
act by putting her body to rest.
Her soul is with the angels,
and maybe now she sings,
And helps to make the heavens
more full of beautiful things.
Lift up your hearts and
tell her you'll see her in a while,
When God decides to take
us, once again we'll see her smile.
She'll help us do what we
must do to get through all this pain,
Her soul will be protecting
us from Florida to Maine.
I'm finding it hard to end
this, for it means I say goodbye,
To the body of my mother,
whose soul lives in the sky.
I Love You, Mumma

Dedication to my Mother
They say with age comes wisdom,
I know that this is
true,
Will I ever live long enough
To be as wise as you?
It seems that since you left
us,
The pain grows more each
day,
The loneliness inside of
me,
Just doesn't go away.
I think of how you suffered,
How frightened you seemed
to be,
Lord it almost killed me,
You were always so strong,
to me!
My wonderful sister Cathy
Stayed right by your side,
She wiped your brow and
soothed you,
And you looked at her with
pride!
I think that just as painful,
As losing you, Dear Mother,
Is watching Dad without
you,
For him, there is no other.
Ethelina also misses you
in a broader sense,
I think,
And that's because you were
to her, a very special link.
I miss you in a million ways,
And try to replace tears
with laughter,
and usually when I do this,
I feel much better after!
But we will see you soon,
Mom,
you just wait and see,
We will all be together
forever,
In the place that was meant
to be!
