We recently took the kids to Dreamworld for a very busy day, arriving at 9:30am as the gates opened, and we were one of the last to leave at 5pm.
We started off having a train ride around the whole park to get our bearings.
Dean and Jessica enjoyed chauffeuring the rest of the family in the electric cars, Doug and Nick taking turns in their own car.
After shooting a few rounds at the Shooting Gallery, where Deb earned the nickname "Dead-eye Deb", we went to see the tigers.
Amazing to watch them laze around.
The boys went for a ride on the "Avalanche", then they all went for a Dodgem ride!
Kel and Dean went on the "Octopus" ride....
....Jess made herself squeamish on the chair swings,
while the older two did acrobatics in the "Gravitron".
After a stop for lunch,...
... we had a leisurely boat trip aboard the paddlewheeler,....
stopping to watch the Bushranger show, featuring the Bawd Brothers, Black and Bill, and Sheriff Rick O'Shea.
Next stop was Goldrush Country, where Jessica screamed her way round the "Goldmine" rollercoaster, and we got soaked in the "White Water Rapids" ride, twice, hehehehe.
The boys got brave and decided to have a go at the "Giant Drop"
Waited in line for 45mins, but they said it was worth it.
Next was a quick run around to the animal park, where the kids cuddled a koala, fed the kangaroos, and saw a dingo.
last stop before heading home was to go on the "Log ride". We all got soaked to the bone! The kids like it so much, they had a second turn!
