Well, where do I start? Living in sunny Queensland is a dream come true for me. And having a wonderful wife in Deb puts icing the cake! I have 3 kids of my own, (other than Paige) although only the youngest, Dean, lives with us.
I work at Brisbane International Airport for the Australian Customs Service.
My interests are many and varied, and include wargaming, golfing, reading, Country Music, and chatting to friends on ICQ.
I usually become obsessed, so I generally only have one or two hobbies on the go at any one time...heheheh. My interests include (of all things) computing...yes I play games! Caesar 3 is my current favourite, and of course Lara! Another of my passions is American Football. I indulge in a play by email game Deb says I devote too much time to. (heheheh)
I also dabble in HTML authoring, using HotDog4 and of course, good ol' Notepad.
Recently Deb and I have started reasearching our family history. You can peruse the fruit of our labours in Family Tree.
And more than all the others put together.... I read. My preference is SF/Fantasy, or historical fiction, but I really enjoy any good story. Inspired by Matthew Reilly I have begun to write my own brand of fiction. My first work, "Joint Defence" is with an Agent now, and hopefully will be picked up by a publisher soon. I currently have two other projects, with the working titles of "The New Land" and "Blood Trail".
