NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Tennessee Titans placed Jarrett Payton on the
practice squad with five other players, and picked up veteran linebacker Justin
Ena off waivers Monday.
Payton, the son of Walter Payton, joins safety Justin Sandy, linebacker
Jordan Kramer, linebacker Cody Spencer, lineman Shawn Johnson and tight end
Casey Cramer on the practice squad. Payton, Sandy and Kramer were with the
Titans through this year's training camp before being cut.
Ena is entering his third season in the NFL after joining the Eagles as an
undrafted free agent in 2002. In his first two NFL seasons, he played in 29
games and registered 34 special teams tackles.
To make room for Ena, Titans waived linebacker Ray Wells.
