T'Tenneb has made mention of the wider world that exists across the sea, but little is mentioned of it in the book. It is here in these stories that I explore the different countries and peoples that are to be found there.
I have been writing generally one short story a year, as well as working on T'Tenneb. I did not set out to write a collection of tales set in the same universe, but when I was well into the first one, it seemed to merge with the fairies' mythology. I had at that time already written the song poem The Ballad of the Soldier and The Slave, and so knew some of the history of the Treasures, but I began wondering what happened to the others. Gradually, the Guardians of the Treasures have introduced them to me. I will not be able to chronicle the tale of every Treasure, but I shall keep searching as they have fascinating stories attached to them.
Each story is complete in itself and can be read without any knowledge of the others. Different characters populate each setting and the plots are as different from each other as our two worlds. The one thread that links all of the stories is the Universal Treasures. There is one somewhere in each tale, to a greater or lesser extent.
Take a brief trip of discovery and let me introduce you to the people who's destinies are entwined with the Treasures of the Universe. If you wish to read any of these stories in its entirety, then email me for a copy.
